Job Summary:
MWL is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and steward the organization in its mission to combat human trafficking and to empower individuals and communities in the work of referral, rescue and the journey to new life of all who are exploited and who wish to join us in this mission. The CEO will be responsible for guiding MWL’s strategic direction, fostering relationships with partners and donors, overseeing the effective execution of projects, and ensuring the organization’s continued growth and impact. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a well-established and respected organization dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The CEO’s role at MWL encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. Key duties include:
× Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a clear vision and strategy for MWL, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
× Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional partners, donors, and stakeholders to secure funding and support for MWL projects.
× Project Management: Oversee the effective implementation of MWL projects, ensuring that they align with the organization’s goals and have a meaningful impact.
× Financial Management: Oversee the organization’s budget, financial resources, and fundraising efforts, striving for sustainable financial health.
× Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and mission-driven work environment.
× Advocacy and Networking: Represent MWL at the national and international levels, advocating for the rights and well-being of the communities we serve and building strategic partnerships.
× Transparency and Accountability: Ensure that MWL’s operations are transparent, accountable, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
× Organizational Growth: Explore opportunities for organizational expansion, diversification, and innovative solutions to further MWL’s mission.
Qualifications:
The ideal CEO candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

× Demonstrated leadership experience in a non-profit or social impact organization.
× Academic qualification at the appropriate level of professional expertise.
× Proven track record of successful partnership development, fundraising, and resource mobilization.

× Strong financial management and budgetary skills.
× Demonstrated experience in program/project management.
× Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
× Commitment to transparency and accountability in all aspects of MWL’s operations.
× Familiarity with the human rights, anti-trafficking, and community empowerment sectors is a plus.
