Overview:

In response to the very real hardships faced by so many families due to COVID, the MWL Foundation team up with food banks, local churches, and municipalities across many of the very deprived areas of Albania. Emergency assistance took the form of distributing food and other basic goods. In total hundreds of families in 6 regions of Albania have been helped so far.

What we will continue to do:

Many people and families are still affected by COVID and we will continue to help these until they are back on their feet. We know the underlying cause of Human Trafficking is poverty and we need to do we can to continue to help during this health crisis

What will be the impact:

Minimise the risk of family members being trafficked due to very poor economic conditions.
